Dieses Bild geht an einen Freund, der mal sagte, dass man aus der Weite meiner Landschaft so unendlich viel Kraft schöpfen kann. Gibt es ein größeres Kompliment?

    That is a great quote! I peer at the distance, looking for something. What will I see over the horizon, I wonder.

    You observe the marine colors so well – I am amazed by that. I grew up at the beach, you know – so I know those when I see them and you have them here. Except that you also create extra interest by bringing the foreground "up" with the warmth. Marvelous.

    Aber Deinen Himmel, das Wasser, die Weite in Deinen Landschaften habe ich vermisst. Jetzt sind sie endlich wieder da.
