My dear readers will notice that I have a completely different color scheme for this wave painting. Well, that’s the result of the observations of plein air painting.

In the evening in the winter time the water actually is so blue. This is caused by the different coastline. My older waves are located in front of an island called Sylt, further up in the north of Germany. The sea bed gets quickly very steep and causes those wonderful big green surf. In St. Peter Ording this is completely different. The mud flat goes out a very long way causing a comletely differnt kind of surf and reflection of the evening sky.

    ..fast schaut es aus wie auf einer Fotografie…so klare Farben..der Strandspaziergang mit anschliessenden Kaffee und Rabarber-Kuchen und Sahne lockt…..

      Das Aussehen eines Fotos ist wohl der Komprimierung geschuldet. Tatsächlich habe ich so viele Bereiche überhaupt nicht ausformuliert. Rhabarbakuchen klingt toll.

    wow, was für Farben!

    Wenn du deinen Bildern einen Rahmen gibst, dann werden doch bestimmt noch mal einige Glückshormone frei!
    Das ist ja dann sozusagen die »Krönung« deines Werkes!
    Ich wünsch dir auf jeden Fall ganz viel Erfolg und Freude an deiner bevorstehenden Ausstellung!
