St. Peter-Ording - Strandgut

When walking along the beach something always catches my eye and finds its way into my pockets. Because I belong to the tribe of gatherers I have a wide collection of stones and  shells in my home.

This started at an early age. When I was three my family went on vacation to the North sea. During a mudflat hiking tour we came upon a sandbank with thousands and thousands of shells. I must have been quite impressed, because I bent down and with the most possible entrancement I exclaimed in delight: »Oh, one shell«, I bent down and with even more entrancement I exclaimed in delight: »Oh, one shell«, I bent down….
