At Sunset Light, 30\u00d779 cm, 2015 My dear readers will notice that I have a completely different color scheme for this wave painting. Well, that’s the result of the observations of plein air painting.<\/p>\n In the evening in the winter time the water actually is so blue. This is caused by the different coastline. My older waves are located in front of an island called Sylt, further up in the north of Germany. The sea bed gets quickly very steep and causes those wonderful big green surf. In St. Peter Ording this is completely different.
