And as I painted there and struggled I thought about Danny Gregorys recent blog post:\u00a0 Starting again.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t gone to the gym in a long time, how do you start again?<\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t done a drawing in a long time, how do you start again?<\/p>\n If you haven\u2019t written a blog post in a long time \u2026. how do you start again?<\/p>\n You start by starting.\u00a0By picking up a pen, a dumbbell, and getting to work.\u00a0There is no magic trick, there is no massive process for preparation. There is simply the active of sitting down at the computer, opening a new document, and starting to type.\u00a0It may seem painful, it may seem scary, but all that misery goes away as the first letters march\u00a0onto the screen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Well, if Maya Angelou can struggle, I certainly can too.
