This time we went to a small town called St. Peter Ording. The specific feature about this place is it&#8217;s really big sand bank before the dikes. Usually on the mainland you have the sea, mud flat and then the dike and everything is green. To be on a beach you have to ferry across the sea to the islands.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s one of the reasons why this place is so popular apart from being away just a 90 minute drive from Hamburg.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a while since I have been here and again I was impressed by the vastness of this place. VASTNESS, is all I could take in.<\/p>\n<p>To top this feeling is only one way: Go up to one of the restaurants and enjoy a big portion of waffle, with vanilla ice cream and hot cherries.
