This painting was done after a study from my last painting. It’s a color combination that just glows and Werner Osterrath wrote in the last comment:<\/p>\n

This mood is caused by the industrial light of the ships and piers in combination with the light of dawn. I worked in the harbor in the end of the 1970s and saw this kind of light quite often, but never paid much attention to it: which I now deeply regret.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
