Everybody who lives in Hamburg knows this view: the dockyard of\u00a0 Blohm & Voss. When I come down to the harbor I ask myself what kind of ship I might see in dock 10.<\/p>\n

The colors in this painting are a bit unusual for me, but this was an unusual evening as well. I returned from a trip on the river Elbe and when the ferry had left the pier the skipper almost stopped the ship so everybody could take in this glorious light. I have never experienced that the skippers have done something like this. Close before the terminus pier the captain said: \u00bb Because every beautiful journey has to end, please disembark at the next pier….. and the last one helps cleaning up.\u00ab","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
