James Gurney wrote a very funny blog entry about gamestoppers, when something shuts down a plein air effort. If you haven’t read it, please go there and read the comments as well.
On Loriann Signori’s blog Richard Mckinley tells a story about some pastel sticks, that mysteriosly disappeared.
I had my last gamestopper at Convy Castle in Wales. I wanted to sketch and from a single bench I had the perfect view. As I sat there, happily sketching away I was startled by a loud »splash« and I looked right onto a giant pigeon pup next to me. I jumped up and as I was considering to sit down again, another giant pup landed on the very spot where I had sat before
I guess, you can call this a gamestopper too.
